These are some of my favorite trailers ,I would love to have a trailer with a wooden screen door . This would be nostalgic , romantic and perfect . I need to talk to Marshall about this great idea .
The last few days during our morning tent raising tour I have been telling people that we are RV enthusiasts . I think I am so funny and clever ,at least I entertain myself . We are however passionate about our trailers . We showed on the grounds of an RV hall of fame/museum . What a fun place for us to be , we journeyed down memory lane looking at vintage trailers that we had lived in .
This is my fourth trip to Kelleys Island . The entire show boards the ferry ,about 10-14 trips . It is a fine couple of days . I am usually on one of the last ferries over because I drive a non essential vehicle , a seat wagon . Somehow I got on the second or third ferry with llamas, zebras , camels etc etc , I arrived in daylight and was part of the parade that gets cheered by the public . The boat ride over was the highlight of my trip . I had expectations of some fun . The first night was the night I deserved , it began innocently enough riding a gulf cart and enjoying the sunset . At some point someone bought some shots of tequila and Fresia offered to help drink...She got kicked out of the joint , but she tried to cover it up , " they told me I couldn't be by the pool tables " or some bs. I did have some nice moments , my intense massage @the little healing room , lovely lobster bisque @the pump restaurant , enjoying the perfect weather and the audience that love this fine jewel of a show made it a breath of fresh air .
Doug Kruest brought us ( the circus ) fresh local peaches and our friends Neil and Debbie Smith brought me Bismarcks from Chillicothe . These treats are divine . I shared the Bismarcks ,
I found this still life so amusing that I stopped in my tracks for a couple of snaps . I had been engrossed with Fresia's high school schedule and this tableau put me seconds behind schedule and I missed my "stop, you can't dive without a lifeguard " line . My perfect record was crushed .
We had a 3 show open air affair in Detroit . Multi cultural amazing neighborhood .It was mostly sunny but then it started to lightly sprinkle . I just wanted to stay dry . Gato kindly took this photo with my iPhone 4s . Gato does big top , props and mans the back door curtain .
