Steve's trailer came unhooked . Fortunately it is a sturdy trailer but it got a little mangled . Unfortunately he was driving on a small highway .

Playing in the water

After our sweaty cranky drive on Monday the 15th of July we arrived on a lush green park next to the Allegheny river. That was a delightful place to be . A bunch of us went to the non murky section of the river to cool off . I spied Fresia and others across the river . Tavana informed me it was shallow enough to walk . I went to join them . Fortunately I met up with them mid stream . There was a strong current because the dam had been open over the weekend to raise the water level for a kayak or something race . It was funny getting back to the shore the biggest, strongest guys pulled everyone on floaties and if you tried to swim against the current you went backwards .. Refreshing and soothing and an adventure.

Our next big group water adventure was in Lake Erie , a very light chop and tiny current . The water was perfect temperature ! By perfect I mean, dive in and not even lose your breath or chatter , the water was a glorious temperature . A large part of the show went for a dip, a splash, a 2 man high . Such a great happy fun time !! Except for the part when Marshall thought he drowned his phone..but he didn't..

Fashion first

I could tell the story of the hot days in Massachusetts with family and friends and luncheons . It was a time gift as my friend Stephanie says . Of drinking Prosecco and going to Boston of eating lobster going to places in my past .

I could cry and tell inch by inch the stupid 453 mile odyssey across the great state of New York . The hot sweatiness and navigating and hoping we all made it with out a breakdown . Only 2 flats , 1 slight overheat and a ruptured fuel line because of the flat in all 39 vehicles

Fiddlehead ferns and architecture

Today we went to Boston . We drove to Natick and parked Black Beauty @ the j's . Josh chauffeured us into the city . In Boston I did some intense stretching at the genius of flexibility . Marshall , Fresia , Josh , Jonah and I enjoyed Newbury Street , We totally dug Newbury comics . I saw my old architecture school ..smelled city smells ,enjoyed the moments.. We finished our luxurious day off at the j's ( with Jeanne too ) eating lobster and bluefish pâté .and washed our dainties. What a day what a day.

Sewer love

things we do..we get rid of waste..today we went to the waste treatment facility and made a deposit .It was a highlight for us. I almost dropped my iphone in the sewer..that would have been crappy...

The ring was dry , it was getting into it that was the challenge . Funny how these intense performing and living events form friendships..

Rainy day

A pratfall of umbrellas waiting to get into the tent . We were mostly on asphalt except for this piece of grass . This grassy area flooded beyond belief . It was from the entrance for the performers to the ring !! A performance directors nightmare

Gazpacho soup !

Jeremiah the cook attempts Gazpacho soup , one of my fav summer eats ! He said it would be better next  time but I think he did great

Nothing more hateful than doing 3 shows in the heat . We will make the most of every day because if you can't have some fun , why bother getting up in the morning . Case closed
