Manila constructed and doing shows

I must say the show is quite easy on the eye.

Inside the venue is a single ring with red carpet, surrounded by a ring curb that is illuminated, there are also all kinds of lights (we are visible !)and these tron screen things and a live band.

There is a lot of talent on this show.

Today Is Christmas! At home it is Christmas Eve and Fresia is negotiating early present opening...

I found gauze to wrap my trapeze..very cheap 29 pesos !! that is 69 cents ! a roll

the air is very thick with humidity and smog

The smells travel on the water molecules sometimes it is rancid fish oil and donniker to my sensitive occidental olfactory situation..

paper is a cherished commodity..you bring your own and soap and towels to dry..

bidets are everywhere

I saw a metal stall on the drive to the rehearsal space, on the side of the main drag , it said , "mail urinal"

we take our clothes to the laundry people and they wash them and fold them in a beautiful fashion

everyone is delightfully polite

Today we had rehearsal, it was a big gym with nice floors and easy to rig, very easy because there were other people doing the rigging.we are not performing here this is the rehearsal space

I did my trapeze act twice, learned the fabric routine and did web,the sole purpose so the web spinner could practice..fun

we ran thru finale and the opening.
