time keeps on tripping

Someone told me they loved my trapeze act the other day, I said , what act ? Do I even have an act ?
I was the ringmaster all year , I did some tricks on a lyra and spun by my teeth. I don't know if it is "my act" anymore. I can hang by my toes and spin by my teeth and climb.
I didn't have a fond farewell. Some friends were concerned about me not doing trapeze. I love my friends for being concerned.
I am getting ready to do some show for NYE, spin by my teeth, hang by my toes and be the ringmaster. Your body doesn't care, no one really cares about "your act".
I knew trapeze was only temporary and I was a lucky duck for having a strong body and determination. My rigging is up and I practice, because that is something I love.

I work with an amazing group of humans and animals . Tonight the humans , after a 230 mile drive , put on their Halloween duds and strutted their stuff . What a fun , creative group . It was an unprecedented turnout !

Fun in Pryor , Oklahoma

I was walking by the Marathon and Abraham and Chavez were playing balancing games . That looked like fun so I took some photos and joined in . We have 4 more shows , 3 more days , 2 more towns , 1 Halloween party and it will be a wrap !

In Arkansas for the day .

On my 1 mile walk to the post office I spied a lot of Armadillo road kill . I thought about snagging some skin to use in arts and crafts projects , fortunately I had nothing but my bare hands to pick it up with and I am babyish about touching certain dead things with my bare hands .

The sun is shining , we are on a grass lot , the soccer players are playing soccer and we have 8 shows left !!

Monday September 28 , 2015
5:30 call , the jump was 79 miles . The main road was 47 southbound , west of Chicago . The traffic was heavy northbound but we were traveling southbound .
I had a good group of children for the tent raising tour . My latest craze in the tour is telling people , how we ( the human race) are explorers and adventure seekers and if we aren't trekking around the globe , flying into space , digging tunnels , surfing the web or looking through closets , we are looking into the great beyond . I tell them  about the adventure of circus when it was the wild west , those were some exciting times , you never knew who or what was going to happen on your journey/adventure to the next town .
It makes me remember when anyone could own any kind of animal , we didn't wear seat belts , smoked in the doctors office and teachers could whack us .
We are at the other extreme we are regulated to the brink of exhaustion .
My guest ringmaster's name was Madonna !! I had so much fun introducing her .

Takis are the most wonderful spicy corn rolled up with chile crunchy snacks and they are addictive .Takis are always a hit at the cookhouse .

#forklift-problems

One day the forklift started smoking and the smoke burned our eyes . The diagnostics began , new injectors , turbo problems , whatever it is I, it is a lot of work . There is nothing like taking something apart and putting it back together and then taking it apart again .I guess it is kind of like how I sew , but messier and more dangerous .

These are some of my favorite trailers ,I would love to have a trailer with a wooden screen door . This would be nostalgic , romantic and perfect . I need to talk to Marshall about this great idea .

Marshall and I had this very model of a motor home .We had some goofy adventures in our Coachmen Leprechaun  . It leaked badly  , many sad tires , clogged holding tank , it really leaked ,transmission croaked and lost a drive shaft ,, that is all I can remember .

We are RV enthusiasts

The last few days during our morning tent raising tour I have been telling people that we are RV enthusiasts . I think I am so funny and clever ,at least I entertain myself . We are however passionate about our trailers . We showed on the grounds of an RV hall of fame/museum . What a fun place for us to be , we  journeyed down memory lane looking at vintage trailers that we had lived in .
